It is with deep sorrow that we share the news about the sad demise of Prof. N.K. Kurup.  Prof. N. K. Kurup died on 27^th May 2019 in Perambra.   He was 78.

Prof. N. K. Kurup born to (Late) K. Krishnan Nambiar and  N. Madhavi Amma on  October 8,1938. He joined the college as a faculty member in the Dept. of Botany, Farook College 26-07-1965 and retired as Professor and HoD of the Dept. of Botany on 31-03-1994. He did his M.Sc. from Madras Christian College, Madras

Prof. N. K. Kurup is survived by his wife Bharathy Kurup  son  N. Sajeev (Accountant) and daughter Dr. Sindu Rajesh.
